Policy on Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Welcome to our website (the ‘Site’). We value the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same respect for our rights. As per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can notify us of copyright infringement through our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA from claims of infringement. To report a good faith infringement claim, you need to provide the following information:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Details of the infringing material and its location for removal;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized;
- A statement that the claim is accurate and authorized by the copyright owner.
Section 17 USC §512(f) outlines penalties for misrepresentation in infringement claims.
All takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email.
Any copyright infringement claim received may be shared with the alleged infringer.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you want material restored due to a copyright claim, you can send a counter notification with:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement that you believe the removal was mistaken;
- Your contact information and consent for jurisdiction.
Submit your counter notice via our Contact page, preferably through email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. We maintain a list of DMCA notices and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify our DMCA policy and page content as needed. Please check back regularly for updates.
